I think that the access program is a great idea. Why not offer kids in some schools classes that they wouldn't have access to? I know personally, when I was in the seventh grade, the school that I was assigned to didn't offer the advanced math that I needed so I had to transfer. This program lessens that hassle by offering the classes over the computer.
I bet it costs a lot but Its worth it. Every kid deserves an equal opportunity in schools, and right now some kids are being essentially punished for where they live at or the school that they have been assigned to.
